EU-WISH at the 10th World Water Forum

The Joint Action EU-WISH participated in the 10th World Water Forum to address global water challenges.

Forum participants had the opportunity to learn about the objectives of the Joint Action in the field of wastewater surveillance through an insightful presentation by Jerome Lock-Wah-Hoon from the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM).

The 10th edition of the World Water Forum, held in Bali, Indonesia, from 18 to 25 May, brought together nearly 64,000 participants from more than 160 countries. As the largest international gathering in the water sector, the Forum was multi-stakeholder and co-hosted by the World Water Council and the host city of Bali.

This event was an important opportunity for EU-WISH to network with global water experts and stakeholders, highlighting the importance of the project's mission: to enhance, expand and consolidate wastewater surveillance for public health.
