We are pleased to announce the first EU-WISH international workshop followed by a Consortium meeting in September.

While the final agenda, registration forms and more detailed calendar invitations will be announced closer to the date, we encourage you to mark your calendars in advance.

Who should attend?

This workshop is particularly addressed to stakeholders at Member States and beyond interested in prioritization of wastewater surveillance (WWS) actions, integration in public health and in the EU-WISH Joint Action in general.

Preliminary agenda

Tuesday 9th September - Prioritization

• Welcome and High Level opening statements
• General WP5 presentation (lead into the workshops)
• WP 5 & 7 Moderated break-out sessions on targets topics including geographical prioritization
• General session to wrap up the outcomes from prioritization break-out sessions  

Wednesday 10th September – Integration in public health

• Welcome
• General views and experiences on integration (internal and external perspectives and use cases)
• WP6 - epidemiology integration into surveillance tools
• Three WP6 Breakout sessions  
• WP4 - capacity building and survey, overview of the platform, governance and sustainability.
• Wrap up and closing remarks

Thursday 11th September - Consortium Meeting and General Assembly

• Presentation of advances in transversal work packages:
  • WP2 - Communication, dissemination and exploitation
  • WP3 - Evaluation and preparedness
  • WP4 - Sustainability and capacity building
• General Assembly of EU-WISH
