EU-WISH is launching a pilot webinar series on antimicrobial resistance (AMR) detection in wastewater, organised in collaboration with partners from the JAMRAI 2 network.
This initiative aims to strengthen technical knowledge of culture-based and molecular approaches for AMR monitoring in wastewater, while fostering a community of practice across participating countries.
Webinar dates:
- Webinar 1 – Culture-based workflows - 16 April 2026
- Webinar 2 – PCR-based workflows - 21 May 2026
The sessions will be delivered online via MS Teams and are primarily intended for technical and laboratory professionals involved in wastewater surveillance within the EU-WISH and JAMRAI 2 networks.
As part of this pilot phase, the webinars also contribute to the preparation of a subsequent small-group hands-on training planned later in the year in Riga.
Further practical information will be shared directly with eligible participants through the respective project communication channels.
