EU-WISH reaches a new milestone

The EU-WISH project has reached an important capacity-building milestone: the project’s first training resource is now available through the ECDC Learning Portal.

The course, "Dashboard Implementation for Wastewater-Based Epidemiology", is now freely accessible to public health professionals, scientists, and wastewater surveillance practitioners across Europe. Organised by Sciensano (Brussels, Belgium), this hands-on training covers database management, data visualisation, and interactive dashboard development using R Shiny, all in the context of wastewater-based epidemiology.

Making this training available through an established European learning platform represents an important step towards extending its reach beyond the original participants and transforming EU-WISH training outputs into reusable learning resources.
