Then mark your calendar for the 2^nd EU-WISH Training and Capacity Building Workshop, taking place in Riga, Latvia, on 2–4 June 2026.

This hands-on workshop aims to strengthen technical and analytical capacities for WBS, with a particular focus on antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and chemical analysis.

The programme will feature practical laboratory and bioinformatics sessions, potentially in parallel tracks, and address key topics such as data contextualization, automation of reporting, and integration with public health systems, building on needs identified through EU-WISH mapping and training surveys.

Participation will primarily target technical professionals, including laboratory staff and bioinformaticians, ensuring deep practical engagement and skill development.
