Registration for the first EU-WISH training is now closed

Registration for the first EU-WISH training on automated reporting is now closed. Stay tuned for the next steps!

Registration for the first EU-WISH training on Automated reporting for wastewater-based surveillance, organized and hosted by Sciensano, is now closed.

We received an impressive 178 applications, including 97 fully completed forms (48 from EU-WISH members and 49 from external applicants). The majority of applications were of very high quality, which will make the selection process particularly competitive.

Selected participants will be contacted on 6 October 2025, and all registrants will receive further information at that time.

As this is a pilot training, the course will also help us assess demand. Given the strong interest, Sciensano is considering repeating the training in 2026. In addition, the recorded sessions will be made available afterwards through the ECDC Learning Portal for infectious diseases, to allow broader access to the content.

We thank everyone for their interest and look forward to sharing more soon.
