EU-WISH opens registration for its first training session

Boost your skills in reporting automation and wastewater-based epidemiology dashboard creation with this hands-on training.

Registration is now open for the first EU-WISH training, organized by Sciensano, the public health institute of Belgium.

This training is designed for public health professionals, researchers and data scientists who are interested in automating reporting processes and developing wastewater-based surveillance (WBS) dashboards. Throughout the program, participants will receive hands-on training in key tools and software, including R, R Shiny, Quarto, and GitHub.

By the end of the training, attendees will be able to:

  • Manage and process WBS data efficiently
  • Create interactive and informative visualizations
  • Automate reporting workflows
  • Collaborate effectively using code versioning

As this is the first time the training is offered, demand will also be assessed. If the interest is higher than the number of places available, additional sessions may be organized in the future.
