The EU-WISH Project is pleased to announce that its Second International Workshop will take place from 6 - 8 October 2026 at the Austrian Agency for Health and Food Safety (AGES) in Vienna, Austria.

Building on the success of the first international workshop, this second edition will serve as a key milestone for the project, bringing together leading experts, partners and stakeholders from across Europe. The workshop will provide a dedicated space to present and discuss the major outputs and achievements of the EU-WISH project since its inception, covering the full breadth of work carried out across its work packages over three years of activity.

Sessions, now defined and detailed in the preliminary programme, will open the floor to in-depth discussions on the latest developments in wastewater-based surveillance, public health preparedness, and capacity building.

A poster exhibition will also be featured throughout the event, showcasing the work accomplished across the project's work packages. This visual format will provide a tangible support for conversations, facilitate networking among participants and contribute to the broader communication and dissemination of the project's outputs to the wider scientific and public health community.

The event will offer valuable networking opportunities aimed at strengthening collaboration and knowledge exchange within the EU-WISH community and beyond.
